2011

For the third time since 1994, the national Turnaround Management Association has chosen Hamstreet & Associates for its most prestigious award. Clyde Hamstreet, Shirley Dunn, and Mark Schmidt share the 2011 Turnaround of the Year – Large Company award with team members from other professional firms for their work on Sunwest Management. The U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon issues a certificate of appreciation to Hamstreet & Associates in recognition of its outstanding performance as Chief Restructuring Officer and restructuring advisors in the Sunwest Management case. Click here to view certificate.

2010

Judge Michael Hogan of the U. S. District Court officially recognizes via Court Order "the high quality of the professional work and achievement" in the Sunwest Management case.  "The expected return in excess of 50 cents on MIMO claims is an outstanding result and is a credit to the  ingenuity and dedication of many professionals and their firms.  In particular, the Court recognizes that the CRO [Clyde Hamstreet] consistently provided the vision, judgment, leadership, and determination needed to maximize the value and return to claimants in this very complex and challenging case. . . . Hamstreet deserves recognition for the high quality and integrity of its work on behalf of investors and other claimants."

2009

The Northwest Chapter of the Turnaround Management Association honors Clyde Hamstreet "for his dedication and outstanding professional achievements in business restructurings and turnaround."  The award was presented at the 10th Anniversary Cross-Border Conference in Seattle.

2005

Award-winning expertise—again.  For the second time in eleven years, the Turnaround Management Association (TMA) honors Clyde Hamstreet with the highly coveted 2005 Turnaround of the Year award in the Mega Company category ($1 billion USD or greater in revenue at the onset of the turnaround) for his work as Chief Restructuring Officer of Southern States Cooperative.  At no other time in the Association’s history has the same member won top honors more than once for outstanding turnaround work.

2004

Clyde A. Hamstreet & Associates, LLC.  Five years after forming Glass & Associates, Clyde Hamstreet decides to rededicate his time and energy to his own company. With the help of fellow Glass partner, Shirley Dunn, Hamstreet continues to champion excellence in crisis management and assessment services, interim management, financial restructuring, and operational turnarounds.

1999

Hamstreet & Company partners with two other firms to form Glass & Associates.  Together with Glass's leaders, Clyde Hamstreet was instrumental in defining the standards and practices in the industry, and leading the team to its consistent place on the TMA's list of the Top 12 "Outstanding Turnaround Firms." 

1994

Award-Winning Expertise.  Clyde Hamstreet receives the TMA's award for Turnaround Practitioner of the Year for his work with Warm Springs Forest Products.

1988

Hamstreet & Company is established.  With nearly 20 years' expertise in corporate finance, management, and governance, Clyde Hamstreet founds Hamstreet & Company to bring his unique perspectives to regional business recovery and growth.

Hamstreet & Associates assisted a $140 million farming operation to negotiate continued short-term financing with a fatigued lender, followed by a program of significant debt reduction and operational improvements. As a result, the client was able to find new financing in the midst of the credit crisis and retire the original debt, achieving an all-round win-win result.
