Ms. Dunn is a senior-level financial executive with extensive experience in restructuring underperforming businesses. Especially skilled in crisis management and widely recognized for her abilities to stabilize troubled companies quickly and complete complex transactions, she has worked in the turnaround industry since 1991, when she first joined forces with Clyde Hamstreet. In 2000, following a merger, she became a partner at Glass & Associates, an international restructuring and crisis management firm, subsequently moving to Hamstreet & Associates in 2004.
Ms. Dunn’s expertise includes crisis cash management, forecasting, corporate finance, lender forbearance and restructuring negotiations, the development and implementation of turnaround strategies, and the execution of complex transactions from the negotiation stage through due diligence and closing. Working with clients from the early stages of stabilization throughout the restructuring process, she communicates effectively with various constituents, builds credibility, and designs strategic business plans. Her industry experience includes manufacturing, contract manufacturing, distribution, general and specialty construction, forest products, agricultural business, food processing, senior living, personnel services, and high-tech operations. Ms. Dunn has significant experience in working with Native American tribal governments. In addition, she has managed forensic accounting engagements in the public sector.
Over the past 30 years, Ms. Dunn has held numerous senior financial positions in public and private companies, including most recently Chief Financial Officer of a $1.5 billion senior living provider. She is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Turnaround Professional, and Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor. She has broad experience with successful Chapter 11 reorganizations, serving as Chief Restructuring Officer and as Chapter 11 Trustee.
Ms. Dunn served on the Board of Directors of the Turnaround Management Association as a Vice President for two years. She served as a Director of the Association of Certified Turnaround Professionals from 2003 to 2005, and in 2002 was President of the Northwest Chapter of the Turnaround Management Association. She has lectured at regional, national and international conferences on the subjects of turnaround and crisis management, insolvency, bankruptcy, financial restructuring, and valuation of distressed businesses.
Early in her career Ms. Dunn practiced for several years with Arthur Andersen & Company, having graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration from Portland State University.
